The Ocotal Beach Resort in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica offers a fantastic panoramic ocean view of the Northern Pacific Coastline. Playa Ocotal is a calm and tranquil beach located below the Ocotal Hotel, a hill top resort. Ocotal beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing and giving into the warmth of the sun and ocean breeze. Playa del Coco is only a few minutes away by car and is a quaint fishing and tourist destination filled with shops, restaurants, and bars.

Ocotal is a four hour drive from San Jose’s Juan Santamaria International Airport and thirty minutes from Liberia’s International Airport.

Ocotal Beach Resort is known for its style, comfort and service, beautiful tropical scenery, and outstanding ocean views of the Gulf of Papagayo. One of the renowned signature features is the amazing cliff top Roca Bruja Restaurant, hosting a 270 degree view of the Pacific Ocean. The in house chef, trained in France will tempt your taste buds with delightful international cuisine and creative local fairs. Food and beverage service is also available throughout the hotel including the pool, beach area and rooms.

All rooms at the Ocotal Beach Resort have amazing ocean views. The Beachfront standard rooms have a private terrace with hammock and are located in close proximity to the Rancho snack bar, swimming pool and dive shop. The Panoramic View Rooms offer a private terrace or balcony with a marvelous vista of the Gulf of Papagayo located nearby the pool and Jacuzzi. The Bungalow Junior Suites are along the cliff overlooking the bay, with a plunge pool, and private parking. The suites come with an ocean or garden view, living room, and bathroom with Jacuzzi.
